Hi,
Finally I made up my mind to open a blog (and maintain it). It is not because I suddenly find new meanings of life or want to become a web writer (those days are way behind me, anyways). It's just that there are thoughts jumping from every corner of my mind that can not be posted anywhere else: I don't want to bore my old boys and girls from junior high with geeky, nerdy ideas in research areas that only attracts a few researchers even from academia; nor do I think my quirky funny encounters in my everyday graduate life here in the U.S. should be the reading materials for my advisers....wala~ that's what this blog is. The topic will probably range from travel, music, view of events from my own perspective, to interesting ideas that I came across in spatial cognition, linguistics, IR/KDD, Geographic Information Science, to fun/useful infotech gadgets.
